Method for identifying the degree of aging of synthetic resin tilesSynthetic resin tiles are a new type of green and environmentally friendly building material that has been widely used in rural construction, urban renovation, factory construction, and other projects in recent years. Good synthetic resin tiles are not prone to aging and have a lifespan of generally more than 25 years. Poor quality synthetic resin tiles have a short lifespan and are prone to quality problems. How to identify whether synthetic resin tiles are aging? Next, let's take a look at the following four identification methods with the editor. 1. Synthetic resin tiles have excellent anti-corrosion properties, including acid resistance, salt resistance, and alkali resistance. They can be immersed in a 60% acid-base salt liquid for 24 hours without any chemical reaction and will not fade. So we can conduct a simple manual experiment by pouring some corrosive liquid on top (pay attention to personal safety). If there are cracks, spots, powdering and fading on the surface of the resin tile after the experiment, it indicates that the synthetic resin tile has signs of aging and needs to be replaced. 2. Synthetic resin tiles have impact resistance. It has been proven through experiments that using a 1 kilogram iron ball can freely fall towards the resin tile at a height of 1.8 meters without causing cracks on the surface of the resin tile. To determine whether the synthetic resin tile is aging, it can be tested repeatedly for about 10 times. If the resin tile is damaged, it indicates signs of aging and needs to be replaced. 3. After a long period of rainstorm and exposure to the sun, when walking on the resin tile, the resin tile breaks, which indicates that the load resistance of the resin tile has decreased, and the resin tile has aged and needs to be replaced. During the process of using synthetic resin tiles, if the color on the surface of the tiles has clearly disappeared by naked eye, it indicates that the tiles have aged and faded, and replacement is also necessary. |
